Paper 1 (GMAT) :
 

MTSE Syllabus and Pattern

The MTSE exam is designed with a slightly higher difficulty level compared to the Mental Ability Paper of the Scholarship Examination for standard VIII. This ensures that students are challenged to demonstrate a deeper level of understanding and problem-solving skills. The exam pattern includes two objective-type papers, each lasting 90 minutes and carrying 100 marks. Additionally, for standard X students, an interview stage will be conducted, which carries 50 marks and evaluates a range of academic and extracurricular abilities. Paper 2 (SAT) :

MTSE Exam Preparation The syllabus for MTSE will be based on the school syllabus for the respective subjects and classes throughout the academic year. Students should refer to the textbooks prescribed for the academic year. Thoroughly studying the entire year’s curriculum is essential for effective MTSE Exam Preparation.

Interview

A separate Interview will be conducted for standard X carrying 50 marks. There is no specific syllabus for the interview. The abilities such as understanding, analysis, application with respect to the school subjects will be tested. In addition, the knowledge of current national and international events, the environment in which one lives, achievements in extracurricular activities in school, hobbies, sports etc., will also be considered. Interview stage carries a total of 50 marks.
